Juicing Vegetables

If you specifically want to buy a juicer for juicing fruit and veg, you may need more help on which one to buy and here are my top tips.

First buy one with as big a juicing aperture as possible as this will save you a lot of time in chopping up the fruit and veg. If you have a juicer with a wider hole it can halve the time it takes to juice.

Secondly buy one that is easy to clean and make sure that all removable parts are dishwasher safe. Anything that can save you time is a plus, as the longer it takes to use and clean the juicer, the less likely you are to use it on a regular basis.

Check the warranty too, as some of them are guaranteed for several years – the longer the guarantee the more robust the juicer is likely to be. Check noise levels too, as if you are juicing early in the morning you may not want to wake the whole household up.

Size is also important, as chances are that you will not want to keep it out permanently on the kitchen units so make sure that it fits easily into a low cupboard. If it is to be kept out all the time then choose one of the modern and minimalist or one of the cool retro designs.
